Public Information Request

The District handles all requests for public information in accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 552. To make a public information request, please follow the steps outlined below. All required documents and the payment of all fees must be submitted to Travis County ESD No. 2 before your request can be completed. Please call (512) 251-2801 if you have any questions regarding this process.

STEP 1 

Complete the Public Information Request Form. If the requested record contains Protected Health Information (PHI), please also complete the HIPAA Authorization Form.

STEP 2

Submit the completed form(s) and payment of the records processing fee (see Step 3) to Travis County ESD No. 2. Use one of the below methods to submit the completed form(s), e-mail is preferred:

• In-person – At the Travis County ESD No. 2 Administration Building located at the below address.
• Mail – Send your completed Public Information Request, along with payment to the below address.

*A copy of the requestor’s government issued photo ID MUST be submitted with ALL public information requests.

STEP 3

In accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 552, a records processing fee of $2.00 will be charged to the requestor for each record. You may pay the fee by check, money order or by credit card. Please make all checks or money orders payable to Travis County ESD No. 2. If you are paying by credit card, please call (512) 251-2801 to make your payment upon submitting your public information request documents.

STEP 4

Once you have submitted all the required documentation and have paid the records processing fee, Travis County ESD No. 2 will respond to your request within ten (10) business days.
