October 5 – Station 3 (2301 Kelly Lane) 10am-12pm
October 12 – Station 6 (17221 Weiss Lane) 10am-12pm
There’s activities planned for the entire family. Start with a station tour, then climb through a fire truck, take pics with firefighters, put on their gear, kids can build a first aid kit, learn about fire safety, and more!
Parents- come and learn hands only CPR!! CPR is a life saving skill we hope you never need to use but want to make sure you’re prepared in case you do. Lessons only take a few minutes.
At each of our events we will be collecting expired smoke alarms and old fire extinguishers. We will properly dispose of them at the Austin Recycle and Reuse Center.
Learn how to safely escape a house fire by going through our obstacle course at Station 3.
Help us put out a house fire by spraying it with water at Station 6.
Take pics with firefighters, learn about their gear, and try it on yourself!
